Financial Controller

We are looking to strengthen our finance team with the appointment of a Financial Controller. This role will focus on ensuring strong financial control and cost accounting, with regular reporting into Group headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishing budgets and forecasts
• Reviewing accounts and producing monthly management accounts
• Preparing monthly management dashboards, analysing variances, and monitoring corrective action plans
• Calculating, analysing, and validating cost prices and margins
• Managing cash flow forecasting and monitoring
• Preparing financing files and supporting documentation
• Reporting to senior leadership, including the CFO and Managing Director
• Supporting the implementation and ongoing improvement of the ERP system

Profile:

• Master’s degree in Finance from a university or business school
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance-related role (audit, accounting, financial control, or tax)
• Good knowledge of UK accounting systems
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
• Experience with Sage X3 ERP and BI reporting tools would be advantageous
