Employment Type: Permanent, Part-Time c.25 hours per week

THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a rare chance to take real ownership of the marketing function at one of Northern Ireland's most dynamic and ambitious property investment and development companies. You will work directly with the founder, with the autonomy to make real decisions not just execute someone else’s strategy.
This isn’t a ‘post a few times a week and see what happens’ kind of role. This is a commercial marketing position for someone who understands that the purpose of marketing is to grow a business and who wants to be the person making that happen.
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF -
- You create scroll-stopping social content and you have the results to prove it.
- You’re a strong writer who understands how to write for search as well as for people.
- You have solid experience managing email marketing campaigns end-to-end.
- You know your way around a CRM, ideally Zoho, or something similar.
- You are a self-starter who brings solutions, not just questions.
- You are energised by a growing business where your work has real commercial impact.
- You are comfortable working autonomously and reporting directly to a founder.
- You care more about results than job titles.
A degree is great if you have one. But we are far more interested in your experience, your portfolio and your attitude than your qualifications.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Social Content — the heart of this role
- Own and execute the social content strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and beyond.
- Create scroll-stopping content that builds MCG’s audience, builds trust and drives enquiries, not just likes.
- Turn the Managing Director’s expertise and business story into engaging, compelling content that people actually want to read and share.
- Manage content calendars, scheduling and community engagement across all channels.
- Stay on top of trends, formats and platform changes and apply them to the business.
Copywriting & SEO
- Write sharply and clearly across socials, email, web and blogs in a voice that sounds human and converts.
- Bring an understanding of SEO to everything you write from blog posts to website copy to captions.
- Support delivery of the SEO content strategy, helping MCG build organic visibility over time.
- Make complex property topics accessible and interesting to homeowner and investor audiences.
Email Marketing & CRM
- Build, manage and grow segmented email lists for homeowners and investors.
- Plan and execute email campaigns that nurture leads, convert enquiries and retain clients.
- Work within Zoho CRM to manage contacts, track engagement and keep data clean and actionable.
- Set up and manage automations and sequences, so marketing works between campaigns too.
Website
- Keep the website updated, sharp and optimised for conversion.
- Ensure enquiry journeys are seamless from social or search to contact form.
- Identify and flag opportunities to improve the site based on traffic and behaviour.
Paid Digital Advertising
- Paid ad experience is a bonus, not a requirement, we have a trusted third-party partner who manages paid campaigns.
- You will work alongside that partner, feeding them content, audiences and briefs, and reviewing performance together.
- If you have paid ads experience and can run this in-house (Meta, LinkedIn), even better.
Reporting & Strategy
- Report clearly on what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s next.
- Bring new ideas to the table and know how to prioritise them by commercial impact.
- Contribute to quarterly campaign planning and channel strategy.
ESSENTIAL — WHAT YOU MUST BRING
- Proven experience creating and managing social media content that drives real results, followers, engagement, enquiries.
- Excellent video content creation and editing skills.
- Strong copywriting ability, you can write clearly and compellingly for different audiences and formats.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing: campaign planning, writing, segmentation, reporting.
- Experience using a CRM to manage contacts and support marketing activity, Zoho CRM experience is a strong advantage.
- A working knowledge of SEO and how to write content that performs in search.
- Self-starter mentality, organised, proactive, and able to manage your own time and priorities without being chased.
DESIRABLE — WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU STAND OUT
Not essential, but great to have.
- Experience running paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads), even working alongside an agency or partner.
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM specifically.
- Experience in or genuine interest in property, construction or investment.
- Experience working directly with a founder or senior leader in an entrepreneurial business.
