The Role

As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting month-end reporting and ensuring the integrity of financial information across the Group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the month-end close process, including preparing, posting and reviewing journals
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation and timely resolution of items
  • Providing detailed analysis and explanations of balance sheet movements
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes, including statutory reporting and backing schedules
  • Contributing to improvements in financial controls, governance, and reporting processes
  • Supporting finance projects, including initiatives to streamline and improve month-end timelines
  • Working closely with wider Finance teams (Controllership and FP&A) to deliver business objectives
  • Coaching and supporting an Assistant Management Accountant

What We’re Looking For

  • Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or AAT qualified
  • Experience in a management accounting or financial reporting environment
  • Strong Excel skills (Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable)
  • Good understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills
