A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join its Wolverhampton office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Deliver excellent client service while developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers.
  • Support business development activities, including networking and contributing to the growth of the department’s client base.
  • Maintain financial control of matters, including billing, cash flow management, and achieving agreed fee targets.
  • Identify and act on fee-earning opportunities where appropriate.
  • Ensure files are accurately maintained using case management systems and comply with regulatory and internal procedures.
  • Stay up to date with legal developments and maintain strong technical knowledge in private client law.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, including assistants and paralegals.
  • Handle client enquiries across multiple channels, including face-to-face, telephone, and remote communication.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience in Private Client law.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of fee targets and business objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
  • IT literate with experience using case management systems.
