Job Title: Assembly Operative (Full-Time)

Location: HU2

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 9:00pm (35 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Full-Time Assembly Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team based in HU2. This is a hands-on production role, ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and confident working with measurements and figures.

You will be working on a fixed afternoon/evening shift (2pm-9pm), Monday to Friday. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling components accurately in line with production specifications
• Measuring and calculating dimensions to ensure products meet required standards
• Supporting day-to-day production and assembly activities
• Handling materials and using hand tools safely (training provided)
• Working efficiently to meet quality and output targets
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area
• Following standard operating procedures and health & safety guidelines

Requirements

• Good numeracy skills, with the ability to calculate and work with measurements accurately
• Previous assembly or production experience preferred, but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and support other production areas as required
