A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Care Legal Secretary to join its Childcare Law team across offices in West and South Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting vulnerable clients within a friendly and supportive legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing secretarial support to Care Solicitors
• Typing legal documents, correspondence and court papers
• Preparing Legal Aid applications
• Opening and maintaining files on the case management system
• Handling client calls and arranging appointments
• Managing emails, post and digital dictation
• Preparing court bundles and updating records
• Supporting wider team members as required

Requirements

• Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally within Care/Family Law
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good typing and digital dictation experience
• Proactive, efficient and able to prioritise workloads
• Professional and client-focused approach
