Group Procurement Director – Indirect (m/w/d)

Quest Search and Selection is currently hiring Group Procurement Director, act as the global lead for indirect procurement, building and developing high-performing teams to deliver best-in-class strategic sourcing. You will lead and sponsor global procurement initiatives in close collaboration & partnerships with business unit leaders and country teams, focusing on sustainable cost reduction, improved quality, stronger and enhanced service levels.

Quest is partnering with a large global group and act as a hub for cross-border collaboration and global initiatives. It operates in a highly structured, international environment, bringing together teams from multiple regions and offering opportunities for mobility and global exposure.

Please note you need to be open to relocation in Europe.

Responsibilities of this Group Procurement Director – Indirect :

· Define and implement global procurement strategies and standards.

· Align with procurement directors and cross-functional stakeholders.

· Conduct risk assessments and manage supply and pricing risks.

· Manage spend and projects in line with long-term business goals.

· Develop and maintain a strong, compliant global supplier base.

· Build strategic supplier partnerships.

· Lead end-to-end procurement lifecycle (planning to supplier management)

· Align indirect sourcing with direct procurement strategies.

· Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, legal, compliance, and leadership.

· Communicate clearly across all organisational levels.

· Lead, develop, and inspire teams, foster accountability, and growth.

To be successful in this Group Procurement Director – Indirect:

· Operated at a Head of or Director to group level, ideally within retail or FMCG.

· Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.

· Experience with procurement within freight forwarding and logistics would be advantageous.

· Excellent stakeholder management and supplier relationship skills.

· Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%).

· Open to relocation

· Fluent in English & German
