C&C Search is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant on a full time basis. This is for a financial services firm based in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join an inspiring team.
All about the role and company you would be working for! Position: Accounts Payable Assistant Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Office based: 5 days in the office each week Working hours: 8:30-17:30

Key responsibilities for this position:
Process and review supplier invoices and employee expenses
Manage corporate credit card programmes, including reconciliation
Prepare and execute payment runs across multiple banking systems and jurisdictions
Set up new suppliers and maintain accurate vendor records
Account for input VAT on invoices and expenses where applicable
Resolve supplier and internal queries promptly and professionally
Perform supplier and daily bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies
Ensure accurate data capture to support reporting and audits
Support annual statutory audits with documentation and schedules
Contribute to efficient, well-controlled payment processes as part of a collaborative team
What background and experience is the company looking for?
Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar accounts position
Ideally you will have an AAT level 2 qualification or higher
You will have excellent numeracy and attention to detail
Previous experience working with accounting software
You will be a team player, organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
