Description

This is a newly created role within this fast growing B2B business based in Cardiff City Centre.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the Finance function.

The role will initially be a stand alone role, project based, using additional resource from other Finance teams as and when is required.

The role will develop to managing there own team over the remainder of 2026.

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
• Develop controls and processes around inter-company reconciliations.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Qualified by Experience Accountants with excellent technical ability will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles..
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.
