Overview

We’re partnering with a thriving food production business looking to appoint a proactive and highly organised People Coordinator. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive employee experience by supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring efficient people processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies
  • Support recruitment activity, including job advertising, interview coordination, and new starter onboarding
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, providing timely and professional support
  • Assist with absence management tracking and reporting
  • Prepare HR documentation, including offers, contracts, and policy updates
  • Collate and submit payroll information accurately and on time
  • Coordinate training activities and maintain training records
  • Support engagement initiatives and people-focused projects
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal procedures within a production environment

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a People/HR administrative or coordination role
  • Experience within manufacturing or food production environments is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with employees at all levels
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Exposure to payroll processes is beneficial

  • CIPD Level 3 (essential)
