Secondary Teachers - Teesside

Pay - £165 - £260 p/day

Due to continued growth in school partnerships across Teesside, Veritas Education is experiencing increased demand for secondary teaching staff and is actively seeking qualified teachers (QTS) for a range of long-term opportunities.

We are recruiting for:

• Immediate long-term assignments
• September 2026 starts
• Full-time and part-time roles

These positions are long-term temporary, with some opportunities offering potential for permanent appointments.

Subjects in Demand

We are keen to speak with teachers across all subject areas, with particular demand for:

• Core subjects: Maths, English, Science
• Humanities: History, Geography, RE
• Wider curriculum: ICT/Computing, Design Technology, Art, PE

The Roles

• Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
• A mix of roles:
  • Some requiring full planning and delivery
  • Others with pre-planned lessons provided
• Opportunities within a range of schools across Middlesbrough, Stockton and Redcar

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and ability to build positive relationships
• A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
