JOB PURPOSE Business Support Officer
The main purpose of the post is to provide clerical and administrative support ot the team leader and to assist customers with their enquiries.
Business Support Officer
To communicate in person, by telephone and in writing with customers and partners of the crematorium
To carry out a range of administrative tasks, including those associated with cremations
To receive payment for crematorium services, issue receipts and keep records in compliance with the Councils financial regulations.
To assist the team leader in building and maintaining effective relationships with the crematoriums partners, such as funeral directors, officiants and suppliers of goods and services
To assist customers with enquiries relating to funerals and memorials
To undertake such other duties of a related nature as may be required for the proper and successful operation of the crematorium
