We are supporting a well established manufacturing business in the appointment of a Commercial Director to lead and execute the commercial strategy across sales, pricing, margin, and customer development.

This is a senior leadership role operating at board level and playing a key role in driving profitable growth.

The role

As Commercial Director, you will:

  • Own and deliver the commercial strategy aligned to overall business objectives
  • Lead sales, key accounts, pricing, and commercial performance across the business
  • Drive revenue growth while protecting and improving margins
  • Oversee contract negotiations with major customers and suppliers
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure commercial decisions are operationally and financially sound
  • Develop and a commercial team
  • Provide clear commercial insight and reporting to the Board
About you

You will be:

  • An experienced Commercial Director / Sales Director from a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Comfortable operating at board level
  • Commercially sharp, data led, and margin focused
  • Experienced in complex pricing, contract negotiation, and customer management
  • A strong people leader with the gravitas to influence cross functionally
  • Pragmatic, hands on, and comfortable driving change
