Indirect Buyer – Indirects – Grimsby/Hybrid – Competitive Salary

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a well-established, global manufacturer who is looking to recruit an Indirect Buyer to join their procurement team.

As the Indirect Buyer, you’ll play a key role in managing the procurement of indirect goods and services across the UK sites.

The Role

• Own and manage the procurement cycle for assigned indirect spend categories, from vendor sourcing through to contract execution
• Work closely with site teams and regional category managers to deliver requirements on time, within budget, and to specification
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure the best commercial terms, and manage ongoing supplier relationships and performance
• Handle transactional procurement through SAP and Ariba, keeping PR-to-PO flow and invoice resolution running smoothly
• Identify savings opportunities through benchmarking and close collaboration with local and regional procurement teams
• Embed SHE compliance and sustainability principles into all procurement activity

The Person

• Previous experience working within an industrial environment
• Strong background in CAPEX or MRO procurement (essential)
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with a drive to deliver best value
• Familiarity with SAP and Ariba (desirable)
