Agility Resourcing are partnering with a growing and ambitious organisation seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. This is a hands-on role offering real exposure across the accounts function—ideal for someone who wants to develop quickly and progress.

As Assistant Accountant

• Assisting with month-end processes and management accounts
• Preparing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
• Reconciling bank accounts and balance sheets
• Supporting purchase and sales ledger activities when required
• Assisting with VAT returns and statutory reporting
• Helping improve processes and drive efficiencies within the finance function

What we’re looking for:

• AAT qualified or studying (ACCA / CIMA) looking to progress as Assistant Accountant
• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
• Strong attention to detail and good Excel skills
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
