We are currently recruiting for a caring and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the CV7 area supporting within their ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision).

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody passionate about supporting children with complex SEND needs within a nurturing and structured environment. The pupils within the provision are working at an EYFS/developmental level, so experience within Early Years, SEN or specialist settings would be highly beneficial.

The role will involve supporting pupils with autism, communication difficulties and additional learning needs through one-to-one and small group support. The school is looking for somebody patient, proactive and genuinely passionate about helping children build confidence, independence and engagement within education.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with complex SEND needs within the ARP provision
• Providing one-to-one and small group support
• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement
• Using sensory strategies and adapting activities to meet individual needs
• Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals
• Helping maintain a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous SEN experience within schools, nurseries or specialist settings
• Experience supporting children working at EYFS level
• Knowledge of autism, SEMH and communication needs
• A calm, nurturing and resilient approach
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Makaton, PECS or sensory experience would be beneficial
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
