Birmingham, hybrid - up to £46,000 plus benefits and bonus

A leading wealth planning firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its core Wealth Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their technical expertise and build a long-term career within financial planning, with clear progression routes into advisory, leadership or specialist technical roles.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with Financial Advisers and Client Support teams to deliver high-quality, independent financial planning advice. This is a hands-on, technical role with broad exposure across client strategies and solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Researching and analysing client arrangements and market solutions
• Preparing suitability reports and recommendations
• Conducting investment and pension analysis, including asset allocation
• Supporting ongoing client reviews and financial strategy updates
• Ensuring all work meets FCA and internal compliance standards

What They’re Looking For

• Approximately 2+ years’ paraplanning experience
• Working towards, or close to completing, DipPFS
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail
• A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to develop within financial planning

Package

• Salary: £37,000 to £46,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
• Bonus plus full benefits package
• Hybrid working model: 2 days in the office and 3 from home, with more office-based time initially during onboarding
• Funded exams, study support and structured career development
