Warehouse Supervisor / Manager

Competitive Salary £15.75 per hour (DOE)


Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations within a fast-paced parcel and logistics environment.


This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on warehouse professional with strong leadership skills and experience in logistics, inventory management, and team supervision.


Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, and organising parcel deliveries

Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximise productivity and minimise errors

Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation

Coordinate with the logistics team to optimise delivery routes

Supervise, support, and motivate warehouse staff through training and performance management

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment

Use delivery routing systems and warehouse software to organise deliveries and collections, monitor shipments, and manage redeliveries and returns

Assist with deliveries and collections when required


Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Good understanding of logistics operations and warehouse best practices

Ability to safely operate counterbalance and reach truck forklifts

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Full UK Driving Licence (required)

Valid Forklift Licence (required)


Working Hours

Monday: 7:00am – 2:00pm

Tuesday to Friday: 5:00am – 2:00pm

Saturday: 5:00am – 10:00am (rota basis)
