Our Client, Bolton Council, is seeking an Adult’s Team Manager to join their Safeguarding Team.

This is a Hybrid Working Role!

Responsibilities of this role:

• Lead and supervise safeguarding staff
• Oversee and quality assure Section 42 enquiries
• Make decisions on risk, thresholds, and protection plans
• Manage complex/high-risk cases (abuse, self-neglect, domestic abuse)
• Work with multi-agency partners (police, NHS, providers)
• Ensure compliance with Care Act, MCA, and safeguarding policies
• Monitor performance, caseloads, and practice standards
• Handle escalations, complaints, and serious incidents
• Support staff development and training

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
• Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker
