Are you passionate about supporting children's emotional wellbeing and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning?
Long Term Futures are working alongside a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Aston, Birmingham to recruit an experienced and compassionate SEMH Mentor to join their pastoral support team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work across the school, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them build confidence, improve emotional regulation and positively engage with education. The school is looking for someone who can provide a calm and consistent presence for pupils who may present with behavioural challenges, emotional difficulties or additional SEN needs.
This role would suit someone with previous experience supporting SEMH within a primary school setting, particularly those with a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies.
