Our client is a well established business who provide key products and services to the construction industry. They are a experiencing exciting growth and as part of that growth they seek a Finance Analyst to join the team to manage month-end and also drive high quality data to support business decision making. Management Accountant with strong SQL and analytical skills, capable of turning complex operational and financial data into meaningful insight. You will need advanced Excel and SQL skills and strong analytical mindset.

This is a permanent role based at their head office in Epping, key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Own cost centre reporting and performance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure financial data integrity across systems.
• Use SQL to extract and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Build automated and repeatable reporting solutions.
• Analyse operational and commercial drivers.
• Translate data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Support KPI development and performance dashboards.
• Provide insight to support pricing, investment, and operational decisions.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within large datasets.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial performance

This is an exciting role for someone with core management accounts experience and good analytical skills. Candidates must have advanced Excel skills, SQL knowledge and ideally experience of Power BI / Tableau. You will have the ability to liaise across the business and use your analytical mindset to produce quality data.
