Print Finisher – Swindon

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Print Finisher – Swindon to join our well-established client based in Swindon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Print Finisher to join a busy and professional production team, offering a permanent position, competitive salary, stable weekday shifts, and long-term career opportunities within a well-established print environment.

This role would also suit candidates who have previously worked as a Print Operator, Print Room Operative, Finishing Operative, Guillotine Operator, Print Production Operative, Binding Operative, or Print Machine Operator.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday – 09:00am – 17:00pm
• 40 hours per week
• Occasional flexibility required to meet business needs
• No weekend working

Salary

• £30,000 – £32,000 per annum

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Print Finisher, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Setting up and operating print finishing equipment safely and efficiently
• Operating Guillotine folding machines
• Operating stitching and binding machinery
• Carrying out quality inspections and checks on finished products
• Ensuring all printed materials meet required standards and specifications
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting production deadlines within a fast-paced print environment

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Print Finisher, you will need:

• Previous experience operating Guillotine machines
• Previous experience operating stitching and binding machines
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good hands-on practical skills
• Basic mechanical awareness
• The ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational and time management skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience within a print production or manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Experience working with print finishing equipment and machinery

Training Provided

• Industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support and development throughout your employment
