Description

The Senior Buyer will be responsible for;

• Oversee procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance to meet quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in procurement processes.
• Prepare and manage procurement reports to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to budget management efforts.
• Address and resolve any procurement-related issues or conflicts effectively.

Profile

A successful Senior Buyer should have:

• Professional experience in procurement or supply chain management within the energy and natural resources industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support effective decision-making.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and software tools.
• Knowledge of supplier management and contract negotiation processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both internal teams and external suppliers.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance with procurement standards.
• This role is office based 4 days and one day home based.
• Role based in Bristol

Job Offer

The Senior Buyer will receive;

• Salary between £40,000 and £48,500
