We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Collections Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, engaging with clients to secure payments, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the organisation’s financial health.

Responsibilities
  • Contact clients via telephone and written correspondence to discuss overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans
  • Maintain detailed records of all contact attempts, agreements, and payment statuses using accounting software
  • Analyse account data to identify delinquent accounts and prioritise collection efforts
  • Follow up on payment arrangements to ensure timely settlement of debts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations during all collection activities
  • Update client information accurately within the data entry system and maintain organised documentation of collection activities

Training & Development Programme

As part of our commitment to developing talented individuals, all Collections Hub employees undertake a structured 12-week training and development programme during their probationary period.

Employees will be enrolled into the Collections Hub pathway, combining formal training, shadowing, supervised case handling, and practical application. The programme consists of:

  • An initial 6-week structured training programme
  • Followed by 6 weeks of practical application and live case handling

Following successful completion of the Collections Hub programme and probationary period, employees will be allocated to one of the Collections teams, either as a Collections Agent or Account Manager.

This position is conditional, subject to a three-month probationary period, where training and ongoing support will be provided throughout, alongside regular progress meetings to help you develop within the role.
