This Private Client Paralegal job in Chester offers a varied and hands-on position within a busy Private Client team, supporting Fee Earners across a broad range of trusts and estates matters.

• Opening and maintaining files in accordance with risk management and compliance procedures
• Assisting with drafting wills, trusts, codicils and related documentation
• Supporting probate matters including preparation of applications and estate administration documents
• Liaising with clients to take initial instructions and assist with routine enquiries
• Attending meetings with Fee Earners and taking detailed notes
• Drafting correspondence and client care documentation
• Preparing legal forms using case management systems and legal software
• Liaising with third parties including financial institutions and government bodies
• Ordering key documents such as birth, death and marriage certificates
• Assisting with gathering estate information and asset details
• Managing diaries, booking appointments and organising meetings
• Maintaining accurate filing systems, both digital and physical
• Handling calls and correspondence in a professional and client-focused manner

About You
