We are currently recruiting for a confident and detail-driven Quality Control Inspector to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a key position for someone who takes ownership of quality standards, thrives on accountability, and isn’t afraid to step in when things aren’t right.
You will be responsible for overseeing processes and procedures across the shop floor, ensuring all products meet required specifications and compliance standards. You’ll act as a visible presence within production, working closely with operators, supervisors, and management to maintain consistent quality output.

This role requires someone who can confidently challenge poor practices, address issues head-on, and drive improvements without disrupting workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and audit production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and areas for improvement
• Take ownership of quality issues and see them through to resolution
• Work closely with production teams to implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Strong understanding of quality standards, procedures, and compliance
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive mindset
• Confident communicator who can engage with all levels of staff
• Comfortable having direct and sometimes uncomfortable conversations when standards are not met
• Resilient, fair, and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently while influencing team behaviour
