Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and improving financial understanding across a business?

We are recruiting for a part-time (full time may be considered) FBP to join a complex and evolving organisation undergoing significant change within its finance function. This is an opportunity to move beyond transactional finance and play a key role in supporting operational teams, improving financial visibility, and driving better commercial decision-making.

The role

You will:

• Partner closely with budget holders and operational teams across the organisation
• Provide financial insight, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making
• Improve financial understanding and accountability among non-finance stakeholders
• Support budgeting and monthly management reporting processes
• Analyse financial data and produce meaningful reporting using Excel
• Help improve existing processes, reporting, and controls within a manual finance environment
• Contribute to wider commercial initiatives and future finance improvements

About you

• Experience within Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting, or a commercially focused finance role
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Confident challenging and supporting non-finance teams
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working within evolving environments

Qualifications and sector experience are not essential — strong practical experience and the ability to build relationships are more important.

Location & hours

• Part-time opportunity (2–4 days per week)
• Hybrid working available, with some on-site presence preferred
