Hays Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and friendly primary village school just outside Taunton in their search for a Year 3 Teacher to cover a full-year maternity leave, starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate primary teacher to join a supportive school community, teaching a lovely Year 3 class with the support of a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant.

About the Role

• Year 3 Class Teacher
• Full-time maternity cover for the full academic year
• Start date: September
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
• Work closely with a supportive TA and collaborative staff team
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 desirable but not essential)
• Be enthusiastic, nurturing and committed to pupil progress
• Be confident stepping into a maternity cover role and quickly building relationships
• Work effectively as part of a team
