About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team on a temporary basis for 5–6 months, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is a great opportunity to support a busy finance function and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a high-volume sales ledger
  • Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Allocating cash and reconciling accounts
  • Resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Supporting month-end processes where required

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a credit control role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confident working with accounting systems and Excel
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and results-driven approach

Location
Office-based role in Ilkeston, ideally suited to candidates within a 5-mile radius.

Contract Length
5–6 months (temporary) with potential to become permanent

Salary
Competitive, depending on experience
