Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus & benefits
About the Opportunity
The Bukola Group is partnering with a leading Not-for-Profiit organisation to recruit an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager.
This is a strategic, consultative sales role focused on delivering solutions across wellbeing, culture change, safety, and sustainability. You’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth, managing high-value accounts, and shaping long-term client partnerships.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of developing and managing a portfolio of clients, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet complex organisational needs.
You’ll operate in a consultative, solution-led environment, combining new business development with strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire, grow and manage a portfolio of key accounts to maximise revenue
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned to client needs
Build strong relationships with stakeholders through a multi-channel approach (phone, virtual, face-to-face)
Identify client challenges across wellbeing, culture, safety, and sustainability, and recommend tailored solutions
Lead on proposals, bids, and tender processes from initial engagement through to contract delivery
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to drive innovation and growth
Maintain a strong pipeline and accurate CRM records
Monitor market trends and provide insights to support business strategy
Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
About You
You’re a strategic thinker with a strong track record in B2B sales and account management. You thrive in consultative selling environments and are comfortable managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships.
Essential Skills & Experience:
5+ years’ B2B sales and account management experience
Strong background in consultative or solution-led selling
Experience managing large, strategic accounts
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven
Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Experience in health & safety, wellbeing, sustainability, or related sectors
Background in workplace wellbeing or culture change initiatives
Experience leading tenders and delivering bespoke client solutions
